The Domaine du Mage, owned by the Grassa family since 1990 is situated in the heart of Gascony in the South West of France. It extends over approximately 40 hectares of clay and gravel soil that is

Grape varieties: Merlot, Syrah

Characteristics: A full, lively and well structured wine that is quite rich and complex. A perfect accompaniement to food though equally pleasurable to drink at any moment. Serve lightly chilled with home cooking and Summery dishes.

Tasting notes: Beautiful crimson colour with a glint of violet. Intense and pure bouquet with fruity notes and soft spice. A really ripe sensual feeling. Aerating the wine intensifies the complex aromas of the fruit

and the attack in the mouth is clean, very fresh and followed by a hint of well balanced tannins. The finish comes back to freshness on soft tannins that stimulate the tastebuds.
