Several well-placed plots of old vines are the source for this exemplary village wine; includes wines from vineyards under Estournelles and from the Etelois vineyard, adjacent to Grand Cru Griottes-Chambertin.

The colour is deep ruby with a smoky, forest floor, black tea bouquet. While in the mouth it is compact and muscular but with a stony elegance, nuanced and balanced tannins. All in all a long savoury finish.
